<%NUMBERING1%>.<%NUMBERING2%>.<%NUMBERING3%> PRTG Manual: Add Remote Probe

You can extend your monitoring by installing one or more Remote Probes. A remote probe installation is required to monitor your local network with a PRTG on demand instance. Remote probes also allow you to monitor different sub-networks that are separated by a firewall from your PRTG on premises core server, to keep an eye on remote locations, and are useful in several other scenarios.
